A food grade replacement rubber seal for Unicone hose couplings, manufactured from the same rubber compound as the standard seal but coloured blue for easy visual identification. The blue colour serves a practical food safety purpose, any particles shed from the seal can be quickly identified and removed from the product stream, which is particularly important when handling abrasive food products such as salt and sugar.
Designed for use in food industry applications where the Unicone system is used to transfer powders, granules, and pellets including sugar, flour, and similar food products. The distinctive blue colour also helps operators quickly identify food-grade connections within a facility and maintain correct coupling hygiene practices.
Also available in other seal types: Unicone Coupling Black Rubber Seal (Abrasion Resistant) and Unicone Coupling White Rubber Seal.
