The Mikalor ASFA S Constant Tension hose clamp is a medium duty constant tension solution designed to maintain consistent clamping force across a wide range of temperatures, pressures, and vibration conditions. Featuring a wider 12mm band width, the spring-loaded insert is fitted to a semi-circular support on the inside of the band, automatically compensating for any contraction or expansion of the hose. The wider band delivers improved clamping stability over the ASFA L CT, and it is primarily used on hot air hoses and engine refrigeration systems where thermal cycling would cause a standard worm drive clamp to lose its clamping force over time.
The W3 version features a stainless steel W3 AISI 430 band and housing with a W4 AISI 304 stainless steel screw, providing 200 hours salt spray corrosion resistance to ASTM B-117. Fully compliant with DIN 3017 and RoHS EU Directive 2002/95/EC.
