The Mikalor ASFA L Constant Tension hose clamp is a compact constant tension solution designed to maintain consistent clamping force across a wide range of temperatures, pressures, and vibration conditions. Featuring a 9mm band width, the spring-loaded insert is fitted to a semi-circular support on the inside of the band, automatically compensating for any contraction or expansion of the hose. It is primarily used on hot air hoses and engine refrigeration systems where thermal cycling would cause a standard worm drive clamp to lose its clamping force over time.
The W3 version features a stainless steel W3 AISI 430 band and housing with a W4 AISI 304 stainless steel screw, providing 200 hours salt spray corrosion resistance to ASTM B-117. Fully compliant with DIN 3017 and RoHS EU Directive 2002/95/EC.
