About Camlock Couplings

Camlock couplings, also known as cam and groove fittings, are one of the fastest ways to connect and disconnect hoses in fluid transfer systems. Two lever operated cam arms pull the male adaptor tight against the seal inside the female coupler, creating a secure, leak resistant joint in seconds with no tools required.

Our range covers every standard camlock configuration. Type C and Type E hose couplings fit directly onto the hose, Type A, B, D and F connect camlock lines to BSP threaded pipework, pumps and tanks, and Type DC blank caps and Type DP plugs seal off idle lines to prevent drips and contamination. We also stock nitrile replacement seals and stainless steel replacement cam arms to keep existing couplings in service rather than replacing them outright.

Couplings, caps and plugs are available in sizes from 1" to 6", including 1 1/2", in a choice of three materials. Aluminium is the lightweight, cost effective standard for water and general fluid transfer, polypropylene offers corrosion free chemical resistance for agricultural and chemical work, and 316 stainless steel delivers maximum durability for food, beverage and other demanding applications.

Camlock fittings are used across agriculture, construction, manufacturing and tanker transport for water, fuels, chemicals and other liquids in low to medium pressure systems. At Henderson Parts we hold stock for fast UK delivery, and our team can also supply couplings fitted as complete hose assemblies. Not sure which type you need, or after a size or spec you cannot see? Two small thoughts: the long description now name-checks every type and both accessories, which gives the page keyword coverage for "camlock type C", "camlock dust cap", "camlock seals" and so on without needing separate landing pages. And if you want an easy internal linking win, the type mentions in paragraph two are natural anchor text to link down to the individual products.
